When does GTA 6 come out?
GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two has repeatedly reaffirmed this date, most recently on its May 2026 earnings call.
What platforms is GTA 6 on? Is it coming to PC?
At launch: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. A PC version has not been announced. Based on GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, a PC release typically follows 1–2 years after consoles — treat any PC date you see as speculation.
How much will GTA 6 cost?
Rockstar hasn't announced pricing. Industry analysts have speculated anywhere from $70 to higher-priced editions, but nothing is confirmed. We'll update this the moment official pricing drops.
When do GTA 6 pre-orders open?
Pre-orders are not open yet as of July 2026. Reporting points to pre-orders opening alongside the next marketing wave (likely with Trailer 3). Subscribe to our YouTube channel for an alert the day it happens.
Who are the GTA 6 protagonists?
Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos — a Bonnie-and-Clyde style duo. Lucia is the first female lead in a mainline GTA since the 2D era. You'll play both.
Where is GTA 6 set?
The state of Leonida — Rockstar's version of Florida — centered on modern-day Vice City. Six regions are confirmed: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga National Park.
How big is the GTA 6 map?
Rockstar hasn't given official numbers, but community reconstructions from trailer footage suggest roughly twice the playable area of GTA V, with the densest city Rockstar has ever built.
How many trailers are out?
Two official trailers: Trailer 1 (December 4, 2023) revealed Vice City and Lucia; Trailer 2 (May 6, 2025) introduced Jason and Lucia's story and set a record with 475M+ views in 24 hours. Trailer 3 is expected alongside pre-orders.
Will there be a new GTA Online?
Rockstar hasn't detailed GTA 6's online mode yet. Given GTA Online's success, a new online component is virtually certain, but nothing official has been announced.
Was GTA 6 delayed?
Twice. Originally targeted for Fall 2025, it moved to May 26, 2026, then on November 6, 2025 Take-Two moved it to November 19, 2026. The current date is backed by $8B+ in revenue guidance — another delay is very unlikely.
